Adams Price, a Managing Director at Forbes, has over 20 years of experience in strategic planning and execution for mergers and acquisitions; transaction development and execution; P&L management; consulting services delivery in strategic services; ERP selection and implementation; e-commerce strategy, selection, and implementation; and management consulting. In addition, he has 12 years of direct experience in merger and acquisition transactions and capital formation transactions.

Adams began his career in the early 1990s at Rushmore Financial Group, designing and developing multi-platform software for manufacturing, distribution, and financial services organizations with firms ranging from pharmaceuticals manufacturing to mutual fund marketing and accounting. Later, as an Industry Consultant, he led business development efforts in the mining, securities, and manufacturing industries.

In 1994, Adams joined Whittman-Hart, Inc., as an Industry Consultant in manufacturing, distribution, mining, and financial services, then led multimillion-dollar software development efforts and grew the services practice from 8 to 25 consultants. He was later Managing Partner of the firm’s Colorado branch, building the organization from 75 consultants and $9 million in revenue to 150 and $20 million in 2 years. He led a broad range of practices in IT consulting, ecommerce, J.D. Edwards’ customer relationship management, and network infrastructure. His customers included StorageTek, Roche Pharmaceuticals, and Qwest Communications.

In 2000, Adams became Senior Vice President of Operations for Ecommerce Software and Services at Izodia, working at the company’s global headquarters in London. There, he led service delivery, pre- and post-sales integration, customer acquisition and development, global pursuit tracking, and revenue forecasting. He managed Izodia’s largest customer relationship and led P&L, business development, operations management, and recruiting efforts.

In 2002, Adams co-founded The Vérto Group, an international mergers and acquisitions advisory firm, where he executed strategies for divestiture of technology companies in services and software. In 2012, he joined Forbes Mergers & Acquisitions, where he develops, markets, negotiates, and closes merger and acquisition transactions and capital formation transactions on behalf of seller and buyer organizations, working with strategic and private equity organizations to optimize and realize shareholder value.

Adams earned an MBA with honors from the Daniels College of Business, University of Denver, and a degree in Computer Science and Business from the University of Puget Sound. He also completed manufacturing, distribution, logistics, energy, and financial modules at J.D. Edwards.

Adams is Executive Member and Director of Artists of the World, a social enterprise for solving third-world water issues. He is an Advisory Board Member of One World One Water Education Center at Metro State College and a member of the Association for Corporate Growth.

When not working, Adams enjoys spending time with his wife, Holly, his daughter, Corinne, and Talulah (purportedly the family dog). He also enjoys fly-fishing, golfing, volunteering at the Denver Rotary, and spending far too much time in the kitchen.
